¶ No Background on Broadway for Mrs. Doubtfire
They will not have the Background on Broadway talks before performances of Mrs. Doubtfire. If anyone asks why, there were scheduling conflicts with the presenters.

¶ Bugs & Issues
¶ Upset about programming
As we have done with other programming that has made people angry. It is important that we as employees of Dayton Live remain neutral and do not share our personal opinions/beliefs when dealing directly with angry patrons.
If a patron would like to express their concerns to the Dayton Live management, you can transfer the call to the Comments Line (extension 5) in Ring Central and they can leave a message that will be reviewed by management (however do not promise them a return call).
¶ Weather Cancellation Policy
¶ Parking Cost
- Starting March 9, 2026 event parking in the Arts Garage will be $15.
- Subscriber prepaid parking vouchers will be $8.
- new info will be posted on signs and on the website as well as know before you go emails
- public statement about the price increase.
- To continue to provide the safest, cleanest, and most convenient parking experience downtown, The Arts Garage hourly and event parking rates will be adjusted beginning March 9, 2026. Hourly rates will start at $7, with a daily maximum of $12. The event parking rate will be $15. We truly appreciate your understanding and thank you for choosing The Arts Garage!
¶ Fee Changes
- The Phone/Web fee is now 19%
- The Per Ticket maximum for Phone/Web fees has been raised to $25
- be careful when changing orders from before the update as it may change to the new fee amount adding an additional amount due
¶ Email Confirmations to Spam
Recently Email services (particularly Gmail) has been sending our confirmations and/or ticket emails to spam or flagging them as potentially malicious
¶ Cards Declined on the Website
- We have had to increase the security of the credit card processing service we use for the website and the service (3D Secure) has lead to valid cards being declined by the website as some cards are not set up for 3D Secure
- We can process them in person or over the phone without any problem
- They can call their bank/card service to see if they can set it up for 3D Secure
¶ Tickets Disappearing from Basket
- Sometimes when a patron is ordering over the website when they reach the step that asks if they would like to donate and the seats they had in their order will disappear from their order basket but still appear as locked in a web order
- the seats will be released when the order times out which can take 20-30 minutes
- the issue is being worked on
